This prenatal test is done by simply taking a small amount of blood (only 10mls) from the mother to check for any chromosomal defects or abnormalities, and it is also able to identify the gender of the baby at the same time.
Abnormalities in chromosomes can be detected with up to 99% accuracy without any risk to the mother or the baby when compared to traditional methods of testing as it is a non-invasive procedure.
