Dr Farah Fatimy Othman

Dr. Farah Fatimy Othman is a dedicated and passionate Consultant Fertility Specialist, Obstetrician and Gynaecologist with over 15 years of experience in providing comprehensive women’s healthcare. She is committed to delivering high-quality, personalized care, supporting women through every stage of their reproductive health journey — from fertility challenges to pregnancy, postpartum care, and beyond.

She obtained her medical degree (MBBS) from the International Medical University (IMU) in 2003 and earned her membership with the Royal College of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists (MRCOG, UK) in 2019. Dr. Farah further expanded her expertise by completing the Malaysian Aesthetic Certificate (MAC) and earning a Fellowship in Cosmetic Gynaecology from the American Aesthetic Association in 2024, allowing her to integrate advanced aesthetic procedures into her practice.

Before joining Genesis IVF and Women’s Specialist Centre, Dr. Farah held various roles at reputable institutions, including Puteri Ayu Maternity Centre, Metro IVF Centre, Hospital Ampang, and Hospital Ipoh. Throughout her career, she has gained extensive experience in managing pregnancies, deliveries, gynaecological conditions, and infertility, as well as performing advanced cosmetic gynaecology procedures such as labiaplasty and perineoplasty.

She is an active member of the Royal College of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists and the Obstetrical and Gynaecological Society of Malaysia (OGSM), where she currently serves as the Kedah/Perlis State Representative (2024–2026) and as part of the organising committee for the OGSM Congress 2025.
